We collect the following information when you use Celestial IQ:

• Account Information: Display name, profile image, and authentication data provided through your sign-in method.
• Birth Data: Date of birth, time of birth, and birth location — used solely to calculate your personal pattern map and generate personalized readings.
• Usage Data: Feature usage, streak activity, and reading history to personalize your experience.
• Device Information: Device type, browser, IP address, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications you have opted into.
• Payment Information: When you purchase Cosmic Credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS). We never see or store your full card details.

Dream journal entries are stored on your account and on your device. On iOS devices with iCloud enabled, dream data may sync through Apple iCloud as part of your device backup.

We use your information to:

• Generate personalized pattern maps, daily reflections, and readings
• Enable social features like friend connections and relationship readings
• Send push notifications you have opted into (daily reflections, streak reminders, retrograde alerts)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve the app experience and fix technical issues
• Serve and measure advertising on our public website (see "Advertising and Cookies" below)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Celestial IQ uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: To generate AI-powered interpretations. Your birth data may be sent to OpenAI for processing readings. No personally identifiable information beyond birth data is shared.
• Apple App Store: For iOS in-app purchases and subscription management.
• Stripe: For web payment processing of subscriptions and one-time purchases.
• Firebase Analytics (Google): To understand product usage and measure marketing effectiveness.
• Google AdSense: To serve advertising on our public website (celestialiqapp.com).
• Google AdMob and Unity Ads: To serve advertising to free-tier users in the iOS app.

Our public website uses Google AdSense to serve advertising. As required by Google, we disclose the following:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our sites and other sites on the Internet.
• Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie in the course of serving ads on our site.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Users in the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland can also opt out of third-party vendor cookie use for personalized advertising by visiting www.youronlinechoices.eu.
• For users in the United States, you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via optout.aboutads.info.

We also use first-party analytics cookies (Firebase / Google Analytics) to measure traffic and improve the site. By continuing to use our website, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings or, in the EU/UK, through the consent banner shown on first visit.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive. We use Google's Consent Mode V2 framework to respect your advertising and analytics consent choices. On your first visit from a covered region, you will see a consent banner asking whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies; until you grant consent, advertising and analytics cookies are not set.

Celestial IQ is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant minimum age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@bigmonkgames.com; we will complete deletion within 30 days. Dream journal data stored on your device can be deleted directly from the app at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Celestial IQ after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
