Celestial IQ is a psychology-first self-discovery platform built by Big Monk Games, an independent studio based in the United States. We blend Jungian depth psychology — archetypes, shadow work, and individuation — with modern AI to deliver personalized insights you can actually use in everyday life.
Our Mission
Most self-discovery apps rely on generic horoscopes, surface-level personality quizzes, or templated advice. We wanted something different. Celestial IQ exists to give curious people a thoughtful, psychologically literate companion for self-reflection — one that takes the wisdom of Carl Jung's analytical psychology seriously and translates it into language anyone can engage with.
Our goal is not to predict your future. It is to help you understand the patterns, archetypes, and unconscious forces shaping your present, so you can move through life with more awareness, agency, and compassion for yourself and the people around you.
Who Is Big Monk Games?
Big Monk Games is an independent app development studio focused on thoughtful, beautifully designed applications at the intersection of technology, psychology, and wellness. We have been building consumer software since 2019 and ship products on iOS, the web, and Android.
We are a small, owner-operated team — no venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs mandate. Every product we ship is one we would use ourselves, built to a standard we would be proud to show our families.
How Celestial IQ Was Built
Celestial IQ was developed over more than a year of research, design, and engineering. The Jungian framing was developed in consultation with published depth-psychology literature including Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Man and His Symbols, and the works of Marie-Louise von Franz and James Hollis. The astrological calculations are powered by industry-standard ephemeris data. Our AI interpretations use frontier large language models guided by carefully constructed psychological prompts and editorial oversight.
We treat your data with care. Birth information is used only to compute your personal pattern map and is never sold. Dream journal entries are private to your account. We do not run behavioral advertising on logged-in product surfaces.
What Makes Celestial IQ Different
Psychology first, astrology second. Our content frame is Jungian — archetypes, shadow, anima/animus, persona, and the journey toward individuation. Astrology is a useful symbolic vocabulary that we layer on top, not the foundation.
Depth over volume. Each reading, daily reflection, and relationship reading is generated specifically for the person and moment in question — not pulled from a static library of generic descriptions.
Honest about what it is. Celestial IQ is for entertainment, self-reflection, and creative thinking. It is not a substitute for licensed therapy, medical care, financial advice, or legal counsel — and we say so plainly throughout the app.

All static content on this website — including tarot card pages, sign pages, archetype pages, and compatibility pages — is written and edited by humans on the Big Monk Games team. AI is used to generate personalized in-app readings based on your specific birth data and the moment you request the reading; it is not used to mass-produce the public content you read on this site.
